*Kawaii*
During college I worked at a surf shop at Ala Moana Shopping Center -- the mecca of shopping in Honolulu. Most of my time was spent selling Roxy bikinis to Japanese tourists, who when spotting something cute would cry out "kawaii!". When I saw these japanese fabrics on Etsy I wanted to yell "kawaii!". I have no idea what I'm going to do with the fabric seeing as I'm not a skilled sewer but am inspired to do some Christmas projects for my sisters.
